Dr Ravin Thatte, was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (ad hominem) (for this particular person) for his contribution to the science of plastic surgery and to society.
British Association of Plastic Surgeons has awarded him its honorary membership and the 50-year index of its official publication – The British Journal of Plastic Surgery – shows that he was one of their most prolific contributors in that period.
