Have performed all types of Surgeries over the years independently. Proficient in Endoscopies and Laparoscopic Surgery. Was Medical Advisor at Masina Hospital for six months in 2011. As Medical Director at Masina Hospital I reported directly to the Trustees and was overall incharge of all the operations. I was instrumental in setting up a state of the art 9 bed I.C.U. and a 8 bed H.D.U. I also introduced the concept of outsourcing loss making departments like the Pathology Department (managed by Dr Avinash Phadke/SRL) and making them profitable. Through donations, we set up an Imaging Centre with a 16 slice C.T.Scan machine, managed by Jhankaria/SRL during my tenure as Medical Director. In a period of three years we managed to substantially increase revenue and decrease costs, thereby reducing losses to a great extent. I am also well versed and conversant with the DNB and CPS programs. As Medical Director at Bhatia Hospital I was instrumental in re-starting the CPS programme, revamping the emergency (Casualty) ward, setting up a state of the art Cathlab and successfully negotiating empanelment of new TPAs specially GIPSA to the benefit of Bhatia Hospital. Since August 2019 I have taken charge of the duties of CEO as well as MD of Bhatia Hospital.
